Welcome to ClearScript. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website clearscript.net and the translation services provided by CLEARSCRIPT LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company located at 109 Oak Lane, Apt 6, Brockton, MA 02301 (“ClearScript,” “we,” “us”). By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

ClearScript provides professional translation services, including certified translations for immigration purposes (USCIS), as well as legal, medical, academic, and corporate translations. Our certified translations include a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy that meets the requirements of 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) for documents submitted to USCIS, and our work follows the quality standards of the American Translators Association (ATA).

Important: We guarantee the accuracy and proper certification of our translations. We do not guarantee that USCIS or any government agency, court, or institution will approve your application or accept your documents. Those decisions depend on factors outside our control.

2. Orders and Delivery

To place an order, send us your documents through our website, WhatsApp, or email. We will review them and send you a quote with the price and estimated delivery time. Work begins once you approve the quote and complete payment. Translations are delivered electronically as a PDF; physical copies or notarization may be available for an additional fee. Delivery times are good-faith estimates and may vary with document length, legibility, and complexity. Rush service may be available upon request.

3. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Full payment is required before work begins unless we agree otherwise in writing. Because translation is a custom service, no refunds are issued after the translated document has been delivered. If you cancel before work has started, we will refund your payment minus any payment-processing fees. If you cancel after work has started but before delivery, we may charge for the portion of work completed.

4. Limitation of Liability

ClearScript is a translation company. We are not a law firm, we are not immigration attorneys, and we do not provide legal advice. Nothing we say or deliver should be interpreted as legal or immigration advice. If you need legal guidance, please consult a licensed attorney.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClearScript’s total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific translation at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including denied applications, missed deadlines, or costs arising from decisions of any government agency or institution.

5. Confidentiality

Your documents contain personal information, and we treat them with strict confidentiality. Access is limited to the team members and professional translators working on your order. We do not sell, share, or disclose your documents or personal data to third parties except as required to complete your order or as required by law. Files are stored and transmitted using secure, industry-standard practices.

6. Ownership of the Translated Document

Once your order is paid in full, you own the translated document and may use it for any lawful purpose. ClearScript retains the right to keep internal copies of source and translated documents as needed for certification records, quality assurance, and legal compliance.

7. Revisions and Corrections

Free corrections: If we made an error — a mistranslation, typo, or omission — we will correct it free of charge. Please report errors within 30 days of delivery.

Client-requested changes: Changes that are not our error — such as name-spelling preferences not indicated before the order, updated source documents, formatting preferences, or additional content — are billed as additional work. We will always quote the cost before proceeding.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
